Coffee Club

Bring the kids to school a little early and stick around for Coffee Club!

Coffee Club is an opportunity for parents and carers to gather for a free hot drink and a chat at school drop off time.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends and meet some new ones. All welcome, we hope to see you there!

Term 4 Events Review

A busy start to Term 4 for the GPA with the International Teachers Day celebration in Week 1 and the Referendum BBQ & market at the end of Week 2.

International Teachers Day

In the first week of Term Sarah and Sylwia did a brilliant job to represent GHPS parents, to serve the donated goodies at a Teachers morning tea.

A small acknowledgement to thank the Staff for their commitment and enthusiasm to their job, for International Teachers Day.

Saturday 14th October 2023 Referendum BBQ & market

$4000 has been added to the GPA tally for 2023, with money raised going towards enhancing our GHPS learning environment.

An excellent effort by Sarah, Abbi and Caesar in preparing the groundwork for this event, complicated by the short time frame and term holiday break in the lead up. Great additional assistance by volunteers on the day.

A number of students were seen honing their entrepreneurial skills on the cake, 2nd hand books and plant stalls – engaging the customers and conducting sales.

As ever, the sausages and egg and bacon muffins were popular with voters, and business was constant throughout the day.

Friday Icy Poles

It would be great to have a few more people on the Friday icy pole roster. The kids are always excited to recognise a parent in the tuck shop window.

Now is the time! If you’ve been intending all year to bake a cake or other sweet treat for the Friday Cake Raffle, Term 4 is your chance! It would be great to have some new participants contributing to this popular event.

You need a ticket to win!  Tickets are $1 from the office, every Friday.
