Assessment and Reporting

Assessment and Reporting

Parents receive a full student report twice a year, one in June and one in December. Parents can also attend parent teacher 3 way conferences with their child and teacher to discuss the report further.

The report provides a comprehensive overview of your child’s progress and achievements throughout the semester or school year. It includes assessments of academic performance in subjects like maths, reading, writing, history, music, PE, art and Japanese and science, as well as evaluations of social and emotional development.

The teachers comment on your child’s strengths, areas for improvement, and overall behaviour in the classroom. The report may also highlight participation in extracurricular activities and any special achievements. Attendance records and teacher comments offer a well-rounded view of your child’s experience at school, helping you understand their growth and areas where additional support may be needed.
